Forest
Forest Elementary School fifth graders were excited for the recent opportunity to learn about and try out a myriad of musical instruments.
They first were treated to a presentation about all different types of band and orchestra instruments. After the presentation they were asked to rate their interest in the instruments based on what they learned, circling the ones they wanted to try.
The students had the opportunity to try four different instruments, ranging from flutes to trumpets to violins and trombones.
They enjoyed trying their hand at them and for most, this was their first time ever playing an instrument.
When they were done experimenting, they met with one of the music teachers to talk about which one they think they would want to play this year.
The students are excited to begin this musical journey and can't wait to be a part of Forest's band or orchestra this coming year!
