Lego Read-Aloud Lesson

The students were provided with individual Lego sets to create a scene from their classroom read-aloud book, "The Unteachables" by Gordon Korman. 

The book is about what happens when the worst class of kids in school is paired with the worst teacher in school.

After making their creation, the students were asked to write a paragraph explaining the context and details behind what they built.

Mr. Peebles' said that this creative activity allowed the students a voice in demonstrating a deep understanding of a literary text.

The students had a lot of fun showing off their unique creations!
