D62 Travels Around the World in One Evening!
Forest Elementary School recently hosted its first ever Multicultural Night.
Students and families worked together to create displays, brought in traditional food and wore special clothing to showcase their rich and diverse cultures.
Guests collected stamps on their "passports" for each of the nearly 20 countries they visited.
Among the many countries represented that evening were Albania, Pakistan, Morocco, Romania and Slovakia.
All who attended also had the chance to enjoy traditional dances from Ireland, Bulgaria and Polynesia.
A special thank you to Susan Chavez and ELL teachers Ms. A, Ms. Bermudez, and Ms. Koutavas for organizing the event.
Thank you also to all of the families who shared their culture with us!
The evening was a huge success!
