Creating Percussion Sounds with Rhythm Sticks!
Forest
Students were excited to learn about percussion sounds using rhythm sticks in Ms. Myers music class this week.
Rhythm instruments help develop a child's auditory and fine motor skills. They also improve their sense of rhythm and enhances the connection between their body and mind.
Students had an exciting time playing the "Echo" game with the rhythm sticks.
The purpose of the game was to listen and follow along with the rhythm being played on the screen. They then had to match that rhythm with their sticks.
This game boosts memory, listening and coordination skills.
