Forest
Forest Elementary School has 34 dedicated fifth graders serving as safety patrols.
During recess, the safety patrols assist with setting up and cleaning equipment, they help referee games and they make sure everyone plays safely.
You will see them seeking out students who look like they would like to join a game and helping them find other students to play with.
Patrols also support the lunchroom as expert juice box and sauce packet openers.
They also help with rolling the garbage cans out to streamline the lunchroom cleanup.
Additionally, the safety patrols assist staff with various classroom projects.
A special thank you to Fifth Grade Teacher Ms. Kelly Klemundt and Math Interventionist Ms. Leah Strom who lead the amazing, hard-working safety patrols!
When not on active patrol duty, these students are part of the "Kindness Crew," carrying out secret kindness missions to make Forest an even more welcoming and positive place to be!
